Heather Bauer is in her second year as a member of the Edinboro coaching staff, and will serve as a volunteer assistant for the women’s lacrosse program.

She began her coaching career in 2013 near her hometown outside of Philadelphia, Pa., serving as a coach for the Aftershock Lacrosse High School Travel Team.

Since moving out to the Erie area four years ago, she has coached all ranges of ages and programs for lacrosse. She served as an assistant coach for the McDowell Middle School lacrosse program, and was head coach of the Fairview High School lacrosse team. She will be in her third year coaching the young players of the Erie area through the MYAA Lacrosse Program this summer, serving as a volunteer coach.

Bauer played lacrosse at Spring-Ford High School and Kimberton Waldorf School. She was a four-year starter at center on attack. In addition to lacrosse, she played point guard on the girls’ basketball team and was a member of the cross country team.

She worked in the medical field for eight years as a GI Technical Specialist, until attending Edinboro University. She is currently a senior majoring in Political Science/ Legal Studies with a minor in Business Administration. She is a Dean's List student.

Bauer is engaged to Dr. Stephen Mosier, with the couple planning to marry in the summer of 2021. She is also raising the two youngest of six children in the area.
