Alysa Cudequest brings experience as a professional combined-events athlete, collegiate and high school coach, and certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Coach Alysa began her coaching career in 2021 as the founder and owner of RNQ Performance, where she specializes in developing athletes in the sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws through individualized technical instruction and strength and conditioning. She served as a hurdles coach at Glendora High School in California in 2024 before joining the coaching staff at General McLane High School in Pennsylvania in 2025, working with sprinters, hurdlers, and javelin throwers. In 2026, she began coaching the high jump at Edinboro University.
During her first year with the Edinboro athletes, she coached freshman high jumper Jada Cole to a personal best of 1.75m, ranking third nationally among U20 athletes. Cole became a two-time NCAA qualifier, finished third at the PSAC Indoor Championships and second at the PSAC Outdoor Championships, and established both indoor and outdoor school records during her freshman season. Henry also worked with freshman Weiger De Wit, who cleared 1.95m and placed eighth at the 2026 PSAC Outdoor Championships.
At the high school level, Alysa has helped multiple jumpers achieve state and national-level success. Under her guidance, Lexi and Lilly each cleared over 1.65m and qualified for their respective state championships as a sophomore and junior. She also coached Max to a 10cm improvement in the high jump, progressing from 1.93m to 2.03m in 2026 and earning appearances at both the state championships and New Balance Nationals.
In addition to her coaching accomplishments, Alysa maintains a successful competitive career as a professional combined-events athlete. A former standout at Azusa Pacific University, she earned 8x NCAA All-American honors across the pentathlon, heptathlon, and javelin, including three third-place national finishes in the combined events. She was also a member of two NCAA national championship teams during her collegiate career.
Following college, she is continuing to compete at the national and international levels, qualifying for the USA Track & Field Championships and transitioning into the women's decathlon. In 2026, she finished sixth at the Women's Decathlon World Championships with 7,573 points, placing first among American competitors. Her performance established her as the top-ranked women's decathlete in the United States and third on the all-time U.S. women's decathlon list. Henry also holds the American high jump record in the women's decathlon with a jump of 1.75m.
Coach Alysa earned both of her degrees from Azusa Pacific University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2022 and a Master of Arts in Experience and Design in 2024. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Drawing from her experience as both an elite athlete and a coach, Coach Alysa emphasizes technical development, speed, strength, and long-term athletic progression while helping student-athletes pursue their highest potential.
