Nick Price joined the Edinboro coaching staff in July 2019. Track & field head coach/director of cross country operations Anne Cleary announced Price was joining her staff as an assistant coach for the track & field team. He will specifically work with the throwers.

Price returns to his alma mater after serving as an assistant coach at Widener University from 2006-18. He worked as a throwing coach for student-athletes competing in the shot put, hammer, discus, and javelin. He was named the 2014 USTFCCCA Men's Indoor Assistant Coach of the Year, then went on to be named the 2014 USTFCCCA Men's Outdoor Assistant Coach. He coached 12 Division III All-Americans, including one Division III national champion in the shot put.

"I am very excited to be rejoining the Edinboro University and PSAC Track and Field family once again," related Price. "I look forward to bringing my experiences as a collegiate and post-collegiate athlete and the knowledge I have gained during my 14 years coaching to the Edinboro track and field team. Edinboro has made great strides in making a competitive and well-rounded track and field team, and I am eager to contribute to the continuing growth of the program."

Price was a member of the Edinboro track & field team from 2002-04, earning All-PSAC honors three times in the shot put. He was an NCAA Division II provisional qualifier in the shot put in 2004.

He would continue to compete following his graduation in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Chemistry. He was a a USATF Indoor Championship qualifier in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, coming in sixth in 2011. He was a USATF Outdoor Championship qualifier in 2010 and '11, and in 2012 was an Olympic Trials qualifier in the shot put. Price was ranked in the top 50 in the United States in the shot put in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and was ranked 34th in the U.S. in the shot put in 2010, along with 99th in the world.

Price began his coaching career as a volunteer throwing coach at Edinboro, and also spent time at Interboro High School as an assistant coach. He has also worked as an assistant coach at McDowell High School, where he teaches chemistry. He earned his master's degree in Education from Cabrini College in 2011.
