HIGH SCHOOL:  Wrestled for head coach Ryan Cook at General McLane High School ... posted a 121-23 career record and 72 pins at heavyweight and was a two-time state qualifier ... was 41-6 as a senior with 24 pins ... the 41 wins is tied for the third-highest total in school history ... a PIAA Class AAA qualifier at 285 lbs... was the District 10 runner-up and placed third at regional ... in 2009-10 was 40-8 with 23 pins ... earned a fifth place finish at the PIAA state championships thanks to a 3-2 decision over Averee Robinson of Susquehanna Township ... became the first Lancer non-senior to place since 1986 ... was District 10 champion and regional runner-up ... was named to Erie Times-News All-District 10 Team and was named the Times News Outstanding Wrestler at 285 lbs... finished with a 39-9 record as a sophomore with 25 falls, a school record for wins by a sophomore ... was the District 10 runner-up and placed fourth at the regional tournament ... named to the Erie Times-News Region 4 All-Stars Third Team.
