Competed for coach Keith Sherman at Northwestern High School ... a four-year starter who set the school record for career wins with 127 ... finished with a 127-37 career record ... set the school record for wins in a season, finishing with a 41-4 record at 152 lbs... placed third at PIAA Class AA State Championships, winning an 8-3 decision over Mike Pavasko of Steel Valley in the consolation final ... lost to 2009 state champion Nick Carr of South Fayette, 7-2, in the semifinals ... became third state medalist in school history and the highest placer ever ... won Northwest Regional title and was sectional winner after finishing as runner-up at District 10 Championship ... won Fred Bell Invitational championship and was also champion at Holiday Classic, Ripley(NY) Invitational and Howland(Oh.)
