Wrestled for Greg Powell at Plainfield High School … was a four-year starter for the Cardinals … finished with a 100-44 record, the second-most wins in school history, with 62 falls … finished 36-5 as a senior while competing at 160 and 170 lbs. … two-time Region 3 qualifier … placed fourth at Region 3 Championships and was second in Union County Tournament … finished third at District 12 Tournament and Union County Tournament at 152 lbs. in 2013, and was second at District 12 Tournament and fifth at Union County Tournament at 152 lbs. in 2012 … earned All-Union County and all-area honors.
