Qualified for Nationals for first time thanks to a second place finish at the EWL Championships … ended the year with a 30-12 record with 14 falls and two major decisions … lost both matches at Nationals, with the misfortune of drawing top-seeded Ryan Flores of American in the first round, losing by fall … reached the finals at EWL’s with a pair of wins before dropping a 2-1 decision to 19^th-ranked Brandon Williamson in the finals … earlier won his first PSAC Championship, pinning Lock Haven’s Harry Turner in 49 seconds in the finals … finished second at the UB Open and was fifth at the Michigan State Open … in the latter tourney, upset three ranked wrestlers – 10^th-ranked Kevin Lester of Columbia, 18^th-ranked Joe Rizqallah of Michigan State, and ninth-ranked Mike McMullan of Northwestern in the fifth place match … picked up a 5-3 win in overtime against ninth-ranked Brendan Barlow of Kent State … six of his losses were to ranked wrestlers … went 3-2 at the Midlands Tournament.
 
2010-11
Emerged from battle with Mike Horton as the starter and went on to finish with a 17-16 record in first year as a regular ... was second on the team with 8 falls ... placed fourth at the EWL?Tournament, going 2-2 ... suffered a 3-2 loss to Quintas McCorkle of Clarion in the third place match after earlier handing McCorkle a 3-2 overtime defeat in the PSAC?Championships semifinals ... would go on to finish second at the PSAC?Championships, dropping a 7-3 decision to Lock Haven’s Harry Turner ... came in second at the Keystone Classic, going 3-1.  
 
2009-10
Redshirted, ending the year with a 15-14 record while competing in open tournaments … had five falls, two technical falls and three major decisions … took second place at the JCC Open and was sixth at the Ashland Open … turned in a strong showing at the Nittany Lion Open, going 3-2.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Captured New York Division I state championship as a senior and first-time qualifier, finishing the year with a 44-1 record defeated defending state champion Paul Glover of Spencerport in the semifinals ... ended his career with a 109-22 ledger ... a three-year starter for head coach Mike Picozzi at Longwood High School ... also won league and Suffolk County Section XI championships as a senior ... received the most pins/least time at section championship, with four in 5:57 ... was second in league and county as a junior, again competing at 215 lbs. ... ranked 11th in Wrestling USA’s 2008-09 High School All-Class Rankings ... also named to ASICS All-America Team as an honorable mention choice.
