Another of the young wrestlers a year ago who stepped in to start unexpectedly ... was originally slated to redshirt a year ago, and will likely do so this year ... head coach Tim Flynn feels he benefitted from wrestling last year, and feels with a redshirt this year he will be greatly improved ... continues the pipeline of Connellsville Area High School wrestlers at Edinboro, which includes current teammate Jesse Swink and former All-Americans Jarrod King and Matt King. 

2010-11
Assumed the starting role at 165 lbs. as a true freshman early in the year after starter went out and ended the year with a 6-22 record ... had 3 falls and a major decision ... got off to a solid start but ended the year losing 15 of his final 16 matches, although he was very competitive in virtually every match.

High School
Competed at Connellsville Area High School for head coach Tom Dolde … finished with a career record of 121-42 … wrestled at 160 lbs. as a senior and 145 lbs. as a junior … was a four-year starter in wrestling and soccer for the Falcons and also started a year in football.
