Finished with an 8-7 record while competing at 165 and 174 lbs. … earned a spot in the starting lineup at 165 lbs. midway through the season but suffered an injury in the Purple Raider Open and did not return the rest of the year … six of his wins came via bonus points, with 3 falls, a technical fall, and 2 major decisions … earned All-PSAC honors with a third place finish at the PSAC Championships, winning three of four bouts … won a 16-3 major decision over Lock Haven’s Adam Mackie in the third place bout … ended up sixth at Purple Raider Open while medical forfeiting his last three matches.
 
2012-13
Redshirted … ended the year with a 14-7 record with a fall, a technical fall and three major decisions while competing in open events at 165 lbs… placed in four different opens, including a first place showing at the JCC Open, pinning Mercyhurst’s Francis Mizia in 45 seconds in the finals … took third place at the MSU Open (freshman & sophomore division), going 4-1 … was fourth at the Edinboro Open and fifth at the UB Invite. 
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Wrestled at nearby Meadville High School for head coach Barry Anderson … was a three-time PIAA state qualifier and two-time state place winner … posted a 140-24 career record, and was the school’s first-ever four-time District 10 Class AAA champion … capped career with a sixth place finish at the PIAA Class AA Championships at 170 lbs… ended the year at 36-4, winning the King of the Mountain Tournament and Tool City Tournament … was second at Northwest Regional … as a junior was 37-5 and placed seventh at the state championships while competing at 160 lbs… took third place at Northwest Regional and won Tool City Tournament … was 36-5 as a sophomore, qualifying for states at 152 lbs and finishing second at Northwest Regional, and was 31-10 as a freshman, competing at 135 lbs… placed fourth at Northwest Regional … also a three-year starter for the Bulldogs in football … earned all-state honors at linebacker.
