Cydney Hrycko (Waterloo, N.Y. / Waterloo) has been named Female Scot of the Week. Hrycko scored seven goals in two games this past week including a hat trick in Edinboro’s upset victory over Bloomsburg.

Hrycko’s three goals against the Huskies tied a game-high. It was the Fighting Scots first program win against Bloomsburg and the first major victory the program has had. The freshman scored two second half goals including one with 6:15 to play to cut the deficit to one goal as the Scots scored six unanswered in the comeback. Hrycko also tallied four goals against Seton Hill. Hrycko also had a team-high four ground balls versus Bloomsburg and six at Seton Hill. Edinboro tied a program record with its seventh win this season and set a new program record with its third PSAC win.
