Patricio Lugo (Homestead, Fla. / South Dade) placed second at this weekend's Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. The 149-pounder reached the final round after posting victories over Utah Valley's Grace LaMont (14-3), Harvard's Hunter Ladnier (4-1), fifth-seeded Wisconsin's Andrew Crone (12-3) and top-seeded Virginia Tech's Solom Chisko in the semifinals, 5-3, in overtime. He played Ohio State's Micah Jordan in the finals.
