Ranked second at 141 lbs., Mitchell Port (Bellefonte, Pa. / Bellefonte) claimed a 2-0 decision over No. 10 Zach Horan over Central Michigan and defeated No. 4 Steve Dutton of Michigan 5-2. Port defeated Horan thanks to a second period escape and riding time. He trailed 2-0 after one period against Dutton, but took a 4-2 lead after two periods on an escape, a penalty point, and a takedown. Port rose out Dutton in the third period to gain a point for riding time. The redshirt senior is now 9-0 on the young season and improved his career record to 105-15.
