James Clark is the Edinboro Male Athlete of the Week for the week of October 23-29. A native of Coatesville, the junior wide receiver was one of several players to post huge numbers in Edinboro’s 69-20 win at Seton Hill. Clark set school records for receptions (17), yards receiving (289), and touchdowns receiving (3). Those covered 39, 32, and 30 yards. He continues to climb the career receiving charts. He has moved into third place in career receptions (155), fourth in receiving yards (2,220), and tied for second in receiving touchdowns (22). Clark has 82 receptions this season, good for second in a season, and his 1,101 yards is third in a season. He has 11 TDs receiving, tied for third and matching his total of 2016. He has caught eight-or-more passes in seven games. Clark has six 100-yard receiving games this season and 11 for his career. Ernest Priester holds the school records with seven 100-yard games in 1990 and 12 for his career.
