Nils Plutat (Sauerlach, Bavaria) completed the sweep of championships while competing in the PSAC Singles & Doubles Championships. The sophomore from Bavaria teamed with Tommy Hsu on Saturday to win the doubles title with an 8-1 win over Nagid Walle/Robin Luetzig of Bloomsburg. He also advanced to the semifinals in singles action, where on Sunday he handed number two seed Unai Gonzalez of Mercyhurst a 7-5, 6-1 defeat. It was a rematch of last week's ITA Atlantic Regional semifinals, won by Gonzalez. Plutat met Mercyhurst's Ruairdh Fraser in the finals. Fraser had eliminated Edinboro's Kaio Sacchi in the other semifinal match, and the Laker had match point after winning the first set 6-2 and leading 5-2 in the second. Plutat rallied to win the second set 7-5, then claimed the third set 10-5.
