Final Results

MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swimming team improved to 5-1 with a 158-118 win over Allegheny on Saturday afternoon. 

The Fighting Scots were paced by Julie Moretti and Staci Schrecengost, as both swimmers took part in three winning events.  Moretti won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.90, and also won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.00.  She added a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay, joining Mallory Waldinger, Katie Kelly and Schrecengost to post a winning time of 3:40.34.

Schrecengost had a grueling day, as she won the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.79) and 1,000-yard freestyle (11:01.73) in addition to swimming a leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay.
 
Alexis Berdine was a two-time winner, touching first in the 100-yard backstroke (59.74) and 200-yard backstroke (2:10.51).  Waldinger also won twice thanks to a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (25.08).

Mackenzie Wargo added a first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.66) and Kayla Joy won the 400-yard IM (4:57.18).
