Final Results

CANTON, Oh. – The Edinboro women's swimming team evened its record at 1-1 with a 113-71 win over Malone on Friday night.  Malone is now 1-5. The Fighting Scots are right back in action on Saturday, hosting Mansfield, Bloomsburg and Kutztown.

The Fighting Scots won six events, along with gathering many additional points with second and third place finishes.  It began with a first in the 200-yard medley relay, as the combination of Cheyenne Kressley, Colleen Sheldon, Maria Tarbell and Natalie Smith finished with a time of 1:55.89.

Staci Schrecengost garnered a first place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:55.72.  Julie Moretti touched first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.32), and Alexis Berdine was the winner in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:16.36.  Mackenzie Wargo took first polace in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.83.

The final win came in the 100-yard backstroke, as Mallory Waldinger had a time of 1:05.23.
