RENSAELLAER, In. – The Edinboro Fighting Scots volleyball team dropped two games at the Puma Invite Saturday morning.

Edinboro (0-8) took on Walsh University this morning, but were unable to secure a set victory and fell 3-0 to the Cavaliers.  Immediately following that match, the Fighting Scots were back at it taking on Saginaw Valley State.  Edinboro took the first set 25-22, but could not build on the momentum and fell in the next three sets, dropping the match 3-1.

Tabitha Meeks and Marah Maycock continue to pace the Edinboro offense with 18 kills for Meeks and 17 for Maycock on the day.  Breanna Gardner added nine kills and Megan Branchick notched eight on the day.

Erin Schatzle and Katie Felix continue to split time at the setter position and both had good days for Edinboro.  Felix had 33 assists on the day and Schatzle added 27 of her own. 

Libero Haley Marett had 36 digs during the two matches to lead the defense.  Felix pitched in 23 and Maycock finished with 14.
Edinboro travels home to battle with Ursuline on Tuesday night at 7pm.
