SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (Jan. 11, 2013) – Staci Schrecongost scored a pair of individual victories, but it was not enough as the Edinboro women's swim team fell at host Shippensburg, 114-91 inside Heiges Fieldhouse.

Schrecongost touched first in both the 200-yard free (1:58.28) and 500-yard free (5:21.27) for Edinboro victories.

Other individual winners for the Fighting Scots were Alexis Berdine in the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.35) and Maria Tarbell also tallied a win with a time of 1:01.00 in the 100-yard butterfly.

The Scots also tasted victory with the 200-yard medley relay team of Julia Lockmyer, Katie Kelly, Mackenzie Wargo and Sarah Weeks which set a winning time of 1:57.11.

Edinboro stands at 4-2 on the season while Shippensburg moves to 3-3. The Fighting Scots return home for the final home meet of the season vs. Clarion on Jan. 26.
