EDINBORO, Pa. (November 1, 2013) – The Edinboro women's swimming team chalked up another victory Friday evening, defeating Malone 190-101. The victory improves the Fighting Scots to 4-0 this season in dual meets.

The Fighting Scots were led by a strong performance from Staci Schrecongost. She won two individual events, the 1000 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly. Alexis Berdine, also on the 200 yard medley relay team, won the 200 yard freestyle event. Julie Moretti and Julia Lockmyer each picked up victories as well, winning the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle, respectively. Overall, the women's team won seven of the 11 events.

Edinboro will now go on a month-long hiatus before performing again from December 5 to 7 at the Wooster Invitational. That event will be in Wooster, Ohio and will be their last in the 2013 calendar year.
