The Game Story 
The Edinboro women's volleyball team hits the road for a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division matchups at Seton Hill and California (Pa.) this weekend. The Fighting Scots travel to Greensburg, Pa. to face off with the Griffins on Friday night at 7 p.m., before making the trek to California, Pa. to take on the Vulcans on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Edinboro comes into the weekend sporting a 13-3 overall mark and a 6-1 ledger in PSAC play. The Fighting Scots have won 11 of their last 12 matches.

Seton Hill enters Friday at 14-2 and 5-2 on the season, while California owns an 11-5 overall record and a 5-2 conference mark. Edinboro

Edinboro was a combined 0-4 against the Griffins and Vulcans last season.
The Fighting Scots are coming off a 3-1 triumph over visiting Slippery Rock on Tuesday night at McComb Fieldhouse.
 
Edinboro head coach Missy Soboleski earned her 350th career coaching victory with the win over The Rock. Including stints at Gannon and Mercyhurst, she now has a 350-302 overall mark and is 217-124 at Edinboro.
 
Freshman setter Sydney Trathen finished the night with 39 assists, 18 digs and 4 block assists. Classmate Challen Litwiler, an outside hitter, had 7 kills and added 4 service aces.
 
Jen Gruber led Edinboro with 13 kills and a .250 hitting percentage, adding 3 block assists. Hutchinson contributed 11 kills with a .350 hitting percentage, and led the Scots with 6 block assists. Maria Concheck hadd 9 kills and a .467 hitting percentage, while Tabitha Meek also had 9 kills. Haley Marett totaled 21 digs. 
  
Edinboro, Seton Hill and California feature three of the top attacks in the PSAC.
 
The Fighting Scots pace the PSAC in kills 735, followed by the Griffins with 732 kills and Vulcans with 708 kills.
 
Edinboro also leads the conference service aces (124), opponent hitting percentage (.081), opponent kills per set (8.66), and opponent assists per set (8.04), while ranking second in the conference with 657 assists and 969 digs.
 
Gruber leads the Edinboro attack with 133 total kills followed by Marah Maycock ith 117 kills. Gruber also paces the Fighting Scots with 2.51 kills per set.

Challen Litwiler leads the PSAC with 34 service aces. Edinboro is 12-1 when Litwiler records at least one service ace this season.

Trathen has recorded a team-high 395 assists, good for ninth in the conference. Trathen has also recorded 89 kills, 133 digs and 26 total blocks in her debut season.

Marett ranks fourth in the PSAC with a team-high 283 digs, while ranking fifth in the conference with 5.34 digs per set. Concheck sits seventh in the league with 52 total blocks to go along with 96 kills, the ladder figure ranking third among Fighting Scots.
 
Hutchinson ranks fourth on the team with 92 kills and third with 1.88 kills per set.  
 
Seton Hill ranks second in the PSAC in both kills and hitting percentage (.242). The Griffins sit third in the conference in assists with 642 and total blocks with 143.
 
Seton Hill won 13 straight matches to start the season, but the Griffins have dropped two of their last three matches at the hands of Clarion and California.
 
Middle Hitter Shelby Kyllo paces the PSAC with 194 kills for Seton Hill, while Courtney Field sits fourth in the conference with 502 assists and Corrine Gahagen ranks fifth in the league with 55 total blocks.
 
The Vulcans pace the PSAC in with 663 assists, 144.5 blocks and 1038 digs. They rank third in kills and fifth in opponent hitting percentage at .119, but rank last in the conference in opponent kills with 660 and opponent assists 613.
 
California's attack is led by Danielle Hayes, who ranks ninth in the PSAC with 123 kills and Laurel Miller, who sits second in the conference at 3.51 kills per set.
 
Middle hitter Miranda Fouzie leads the PSAC with 70 total blocks on the season.
 
Following this weekend, Edinboro returns home for a PSAC Crossover on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11 at McComb Fieldhouse.
