EDINBORO, Pa. (January 24, 2015) - It was a joyous day for the Edinboro women's swimming team as seniors
Staci Schrecongost and
Mackenzie Wargo opened the Senior Day celebrations with a song and dance and then the Fighting Scots followed that with a 136-125 victory against Clarion. Edinboro is now 3-3 overall this season while the Golden Eagles are 1-4 this year.

Holly Stein, and
Breanna Purnell to win the first event of the day, the 200 yard medley relay (1:51.48). The New Kensington, Pa. native then won the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.18), 100 yard freestyle (54.33), and 500 yard freestyle (5:21.49).
Stein added two more wins. The sophomore won the 100 yard (1:07.98) and 200 yard breaststroke (2:27.65). Stein also finished second in the 200 yard individual medley (2:17.61).
The Fighting Scots only other individual title came from
Mary Rosati. The sophomore won the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:03.76.
Chartlotte Drozda finished behind Schrecongost in the 200 yard (2:01.71) and 500 yard (5:28.23) freestyle events.
Edinboro took the second through fourth in the 50 yard freestyle as
Megan Gaza (26.92),
Natalie Gilley (27.07), and Joseph (27.11) all finished within .2 seconds of each other. Joseph also finished second in the 100 yard backstroke (1:01.63).
