ResultsEDINBORO, Pa. (November 13, 2015) – The Edinboro University women's swimming team posted seven victories out of 11 races to defeat Allegheny, 120-82, on Friday night at the McComb Fieldhouse.
Holly Stein and Breanna Purcell each totaled three victories on the night while
Casey Tokarski and
Charlotte Drozda each had two.
The Edinboro quartet of Tokarski, Stein, Purcell, and Drozda claimed first place in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:53.17. Purnell and Tokarski then teamed up with
Morgan Joseph and
Anastasiia Semkiv to finish first in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.39.
Stein took the 200 yard IM at a time of 2:16.53. She then had another victory in the 200 yard breaststroke, finishing with a time of 2:27.59. Breanna Purcell took the top spot in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:23.03.
Mary Rosati posted a first-place finish in the 1,000 yard freestyle, clocking in at 11:11.93.
Charlotte Drozda finished first in the 200 yard freestyle, pacing in at 2:02.56.
The Fighting Scots return to the water at PSAC foe Bloomsburg on Saturday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m.
