Box Score (New/Sortable Format) 2 ERIE, Pa. (September 19, 2015) – The Edinboro University volleyball team concluded it's second straight weekend undefeated after posting victories over Concord and Ursuline on Saturday afternoon to conclude the PSAC-MEC Crossover, hosted by Gannon. The Fighting Scots improve to 9-1 overall on the season. That is the best start since the 2011 team started 11-1.
Edinboro defeated Concord 3-1 in the early game before scoring a victory over Ursuline 3-0 in the final match of the weekend.

EDINBORO DEF. CONCORD 3-1 (25-11, 25-15, 24-26, 25-19)The Fighting Scots defeated Concord for the second time this season, prevailing in four games. Sophomore
Challen Litwiler led the Edinboro attack with 17 kills, while
Victoria Severo and
Megan Screptock both followed up with 14 kills each. Litwiler tied a career-high with six service aces in the contest. Severo, who is currently ranked fourth in the PSAC in hitting percentage, finished the match with a .619 hitting percentage.
Sydney Trathen controlled the Edinboro offense with 43 assists. Litwiler also led the way defensively, totaling 17 digs.
EDINBORO DEF. URSULINE 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-16)The Fighting Scots pushed their win streak to six after defeating Ursuline in three games. Screptock paced the Fighting Scots offense with 14 kills in the match, while also finishing with a .419 hitting percentage. Litwiler totaled five service aces to push her total for the weekend into double digits.
Marah Maycock led the Fighting Scots defense with 14 digs, while Trathen contributed 13 of her own.
The Edinboro volleyball team is back in action this coming Wednesday, September 23 as they visit South Euclid, Ohio to square off against Notre Dame College (OH). The Wednesday night contest will get underway at 7 p.m. in Murphy Gymnasium.
