Box Score (New/Sortable Format) EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to nine matches with a hard-earned five-set win over Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday afternoon at McComb Fieldhouse. The Fighting Scots prevailed by scores of 25-20, 25-17, 18-25, 17-25, 15-11. Edinboro is now 9-4 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC Northwest Division, while UPJ fell to 7-5 and 1-1 in the PSAC Central.
The Fighting Scots rode another strong performance from
Victoria Severo. The senior middle hitter enjoyed a big weekend, and on Saturday she led Edinboro with 16 kills in 31 attempts for a .516 hitting percentage. She added 2 block solos and 4 block assists.
Chaellen Litwiler added 14 kills and 8 digs, while
Latoya Hutchinson also reached double-figure kills with 12. Freshman
Jordan Van Oss posted a season-high 22 digs and
Megan Screptock added 15.
Sydney Trathen had 43 assists.
Marissa Erminio had a match-high 19 kills, with Kendall Mahony added 13 for the Lady Cats. Allison Mondorff had 45 assists and 15 digs.
The Fighting Scots return to action on Friday, September 30 at Millersville.
