EDINBORO, Pa. – Yana Miletska won three events and Katelyn Kopacko took home two, including a relay, to lead the Edinboro women's swimming team. Six different swimmers had qualifying times for the PSAC Championships as the women's swimming team fell to Indiana(Pa.) at home on Saturday, 111-93.
Miletska won the 200-yard IM (2:10.57), the 200-yard butterfly (2:12.01), and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:26.49). All three were in qualifying time for the PSAC Championships.
Kopacko took first in the 50-yard free with a qualifying time of 24.63. She teamed with Nicole Kadlecik, Kaitlyn Daiger and Morgan Joseph to win the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:41.00.
Both Daiger and Kadlecik earned individual qualifying times in the 50-yard free with times of 25.61 and 25.67, respectively.
Rounding out PSAC qualifiers, captain Casey Tokarski finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke, with a time of 2:15.41.
Coach Chris Rhodes takes the Fighting Scots on the road next week as they compete at the Westminster Relays in New Wilmington, Pa.
