Game 1: Gannon 10, Edinboro 3
Edinboro got off to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Olivia Jankowski's RBI single sent Lauren Gierlak home for a 1-0 advantage. Two batters later, Victoria Allocco hit a two-run RBI single, pushing across Shannon Gilbert and Jankowski. However, the Fighting Scots lead would evaporate over the next four innings, as Gannon tacked on two runs in the second and four runs in both the third and fourth innings, respectively. Both the Fighting Scots and the Lady Knights had nine hits in game one. Allocco went 3-for-3 at the plate and Jankowski went 3-of-4. Gilbert also had multiple hits, connecting on 2-of-3 at-bats. Carley Nasca took the loss for Edinboro, falling to 3-8 on the year. The junior pitched 2.2 innings, allowing six runs off six hits. Kerri Stevens relieved Nasca the rest of the way, giving up four runs off three hits. She also struck out six batters. Madi Beining pitched a complete game for Gannon.
Game 2: Gannon 9, Edinboro 4
After a scoreless first inning, Gannon jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning. But Edinboro would tack on two runs in the third. Jankowski scored her second run in the fifth inning and in the contest, as she hit a two-run homer to center field for her third home run of the year. That's as close as the Scots would get, as the Lady Knights countered with two more runs in the bottom half of the inning. Gilbert connected on all three of her at-bats, while Roni Lipinski went 2-of-3 and Jankowski belted 2-of-4 at the plate. Amanda Metz pitched the first 4.0 innings. She fell to 2-7, after giving up six runs off 10 hits. Nasca relieved Metz for the final 2.0 innings. Kellyn Perich pitched 3.2 innings, improving to 5-0 on the year.
