The Short Story: The Edinboro women's swimming team captured gold in five events, silver in three events, and bronze in six events on Friday at Shippensburg. The Fighting Scots won both relay events and all three first place finishers qualified for the PSAC Championships.

EVENT NOTES

Edinboro captured gold in five events on Friday. Kaitlyn Daiger, Katelyn Kopacko, and Yana Miletska all won an individual race and were also a part of a first place relay team. Casey Tokarski anchored the first place 200-yard Freestyle Relay and 200-yard Medley Relay teams.
The Fighting Scots recorded four PSAC-qualifying times. Daiger won and qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle by one-hundredth of a second with a time of 25.88. Rachel Roscoe finished just three-hundredths of a second short of qualifying for the conference meet, capturing silver at 26:02.
Miletska qualified in two events, while Kopacko qualified in the 100-yard Freestyle.
