Kopacko Wins Twice to Pace Fighting Scots at Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swimming team suffered its first loss of the season on Friday night, dropping a 112-88 decision at Bloomsburg. The Fighting Scots are now 2-1 on the young season while Bloomsburg evened its record at 2-2.

The Fighting Scots won three events. Katelyn Kopacko was involved in two of those, winning the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.34, along with swimming a leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay. The foursome of Makayla Scheum Kailtyn Daiger, Nicole Kadlecik, and Kopacko combined for a winning time of 1:38.48.

In addition, Yana Miletska won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:10.38.
