ERIE, Pa. – The Edinboro women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Davis & Elkins on Saturday afternoon at
Westwood Racquet Club. The Fighting Scots host Roberts Wesleyan on Monday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m.
Edinboro picked up a win at doubles behind seniors
Laura Lopez and
Jelena Vucenovic, who won 6-2 in number one doubles. The Senators would win at number two doubles and earned a point with a forfeit win at number three doubles.
In singles play, the two teams split all six matches. Lopez captured her third win of the campaign, winning 6-1, 6-2 at number one singles. Tatiana Batalla Trabal was victorious at number two singles, 6-2, 6-0.
Jelena Vucenovic was the third Fighting Scot to pick up a win at singles action. She won, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
