Fighting Scots Fall To Roberts Wesleyan For Third Straight, 4-3 Loss

EDINBORO, Pa. -- For the third straight match, the Edinboro women's tennis team fell, 4-3, today in a match against Roberts Wesleyan. The match took place on the indoor courts at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie. The Fighting Scots will return to the court on Saturday, March 2 when they travel to Wilson, N.C. to take on Barton to begin their Spring Break trip. 

Edinboro picked up the doubles point thanks to wins at both number one and number two doubles. Tatiana Batalla Trabal and Jelena Vucenovic picked up a 6-3 win over Nthabi Mogapodi and Andrea Gallardo at the top spot with Laura Lopez and Hannah Brentar picking up their own 6-3 over Salo Darsallia and Biuisha Shrestha at number two doubles. 

The Redhawks would come back and picked up four wins in singles while the Fighting Scots won two. Lopez and Batalla Trabal both picked up wins at the top two singles spots.
