WILSON, N.C. -- The Edinboro women's tennis team dropped their first road match of the spring with a 7-0 loss to Barton. The match was the first as part of the team's annual spring break trip. 

Barton is coached by former Fighting Scot head coach Lee Underwood.

The Bulldogs picked up wins at the top two doubles spots along with a forfeit win at number three to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles. Barton swept through in all six singles matches to win 7-0.

The Fighting Scots (0-6) returns to the court on Sunday, March 3 when they face Warner (Fla.) at 1:00 p.m. in Hilton Head.
