SALEM, WV – 
Nils Plutat and 
Tommy Hsu won in both singles and doubles as the Edinboro men's tennis team picked up a 4-2 win over Salem on Friday afternoon. The Fighting Scots won the doubles point before picking up three wins at three through five singles to secure the victory. Edinboro improves to 11-4 while the Tigers fell to 2-4.
Hsu and 
Mateus Santos got the Fighting Scots on the board first with a 6-3 win over Gregor Lainer and Patryk Garwacki. Plutat and 
Mauricio Santos secured the doubles point with a 6-1 win over Antonio Shaw and Sibi Junior Soumahoro.
With the 1-0 lead, 
Kevin Mboko finished up first for the Fighting Scots with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Ilia Peredero at number five singles. Plutat won a tight match at number three singles 7-6 (3), 7-5 over Andrej Urjasz. Hsu clinched the win for Edinboro with his own straight-set win against Lainer at number four, 6-4, 6-0.
The Fighting Scots return to the court tomorrow, Saturday, March 30 when they conclude their two-day West Virginia trip at Charleston at 4:00 p.m.
