EDINBORO, Pa. -- Laura Lopez, Tatiana Batalla Trabal, and Jelena Vucenovic were all honored before the Edinboro's women's tennis team's match with Mercyhurst as part of Senior Day for the Fighting Scots. Edinboro fell to the Lakers, 7-0 . 

In doubles, the Lakers jumped out to a 1-0 with wins at the top two spots. Lopez and Batalla Trabal dropped a 6-3 decisionto Kayla Frost and Sangeeta Roopan. Vucenovic and Hannah Brentar were able to hold serve twice before falling 6-2 to Ivona Plecevic and Naomi Jahr. 

Lopez was down 4-1 in the first set at the top singles spot, before rallying off four straight games. Frost however would win the next two to take the first set 6-4. The Laker would carry the momentum into the second set picking up the 6-4, 6-2 win. Batalla Trabal would drop her first set 6-4 to Roopan before falling 6-1 in the second. 

Edinboro (2-17, 2-3 PSAC) concludes their season when they travel to Seton Hill on Wednesday, April 24.
