Four Women's Swimmers to be Honored on Senior Night as Edinboro Hosts Gannon

EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro men's and women's swimming teams will host Gannon on Friday, January 17 at 6 p.m. The meet marks the final home event of the season for head coach Chris Rhodes' Fighting Scots.

The Edinboro women's team comes in with a 3-1 record, while the men's team is 1-3. Ganoon's men's team, meanwhile, is 3-1, while the women's team is 1-3.

Prior to the meet, seven seniors will be honored as part of the Senior Night festivities. Those ceremonies will begin at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Four members of the women's swimming team will be recognized – Melia Andruloins, Kaitlyn Daiger, Katelyn Kopacko, and Yana Miletska.
Kopacko was an NCAA qualifier a year ago and is the school record holder in the 50-ysrd freestyle. She also swam a leg of recent record-setting 200-yard freestyle relay along with Daiger. Miletska recently set the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke.

On the men's side the seniors include Nick Bradford, Jackson Bangert, and Noah Frederick. Like the four women's seniors, all have played roles for Rhodes since becoming a Fighting Scot.

Edinboro has one more dual meet remaining, on January 24 at Clarion, before readying for the PSAC Championships.
