Swimming Heads to Clarion for Last Dual Meet of the Season

EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro men's and women's swimming teams will travel to Clarion on Friday, January 24 at 5 p.m. This is the last dual meet of the season before heading into the PSAC Championships on February 19-22.

The Edinboro women's team comes in with a 4-1 record, while the men's team is 1-4. Clarion's men's team, meanwhile, is 2-3, while the women's team is 3-2.

The Fighting Scots last competed on January 17 against Gannon where seven seniors were recognized before the meet. Katelyn Kopacko and Yana Miletska placed first in three events while Kaitlyn Diager placed first in two events. Nick Bradford won both of his events while Ted Kinney and Gerardo Ruiz each placed first in an event.

A total of 15 women and 11 men have posted qualifying times for the PSAC Championships. Miletska has qualified in seven different events, and Paige Smith in six. On the men's side, Bradford is a qualifier in eight events, with Gerardo Ruiz qualifying in five.
