EDINBORO, PA- The Edinboro Women's Volleyball team (12-3) will travel to Slippery Rock, PA to match up with Slippery Rock University (4-15) at Morrow Field House on Friday, Oct. 15. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.

- The Scot's upcoming game against Slippery Rock will be Edinboro's fourth straight away game, which is a part of the team's six consecutive games away from McComb Fieldhouse
- In the team's previous game on Oct. 9, Edinboro fell short on the road in five sets to Mercyhurst University (12-25, 25-17, 20-25, 25-15, 12-15)
- The loss against the Lakers was Edinboro's first PSAC West loss of the season, the Scots are now (5-1) in conference play, but still remain at the top of the standings

- On the defensive side freshman Carly Pry held up the attack of Mercyhurst by posting a team-high 19 digs, Pry also leads Edinboro with 217 digs on the season

- Edinboro holds the advantage in previous match ups against Slippery Rock, the Scots are (11-7) all time
- Slippery Rock comes into the competition with an overall record of (4-15) and a PSAC West record of (1-5)
- In the Rock's last match up, they fell to Clarion in three sets (25-15, 25-16, 25-23)
- Clarion bested Slippery Rock in kills, hitting percentage, points, assists, aces, and blocks
- Slippery Rock was led by Erica Selfridge, who posted a team-high nine kills and also 10 digs
