EDINBORO, PA- The Edinboro Women's Volleyball team (12-1) will travel to Amherst, (N.Y.) to match up with Daemen College (9-6) at Lumsden Gymnasium on Thursday, Oct. 7. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

- Edinboro kept their winning streak alive and now make it eight straight with the teams win over Gannon in five sets on Tuesday night (22-25, 25-17, 15-25, 25-19, 15-12)
- The Scots ended the Golden Knight's six game winning streak while claiming the top spot in the PSAC West standings at (5-0)
- Edinboro's defense was excellent in the win over Gannon, the Scots held their opponent to a hitting percentage of .162 and recorded 14 block and 103 digs
- Michaella Cloonan led the team with seven blocks, which is a season high for her
- Carly Pry for the second game in a row gained a new season high with 39 digs
- The PSAC West Volleyball Athlete of the Week Bella Burrelli also recorded a season high five blocks
- On offense Alicia Eldredge tied her season high in assists, for the second straight game she had 50 assists
Daemen College
- Edinboro holds the advantage in previous match ups against Daemen College, the Scots are (3-1) all time
- Daemen comes into the match up with an overall record of (9-6) and (3-0) in the ECC conference
- In Daemen's last game they recorded a 3-1 victory over St. Rose College (22-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-14)
- Daemen was dominate on defense they held the opponent to a hitting percentage of .051 and recorded 57 total kills on offense
- Caitlyn Meyer led the offense with 15 kills, and Loren Alberts led the defense with six blocks
