EDINBORO, PA- The Edinboro Women's Volleyball team (12-2) will travel to Erie, PA to match up with Mercyhurst University (4-11) at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center on Saturday, Oct. 9. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m.

- Edinboro fell short on the road to Daemen College earlier this week ending the team's streak of eight wins straight, the Scots were defeated in four sets (21-25, 21-25, 25-23, 24-26)
- The non-conference match up with Daemen College did not affect Edinboro's PSAC West record, the Scots remain in first place with a (5-0) record
- Edinboro continues to keep a balanced offense and defense, the Scots currently ranked third in the PSAC for assists and opponents hitting percentage
- In Edinboro's previous game against Daemen, senior Sally Sterkel led the team with 13 kills, she now has surpassed 100 kills this season and for the third time in her career
- Senior Alicia Eldredge led the way with 29 assists, she now has 506 assists on the season, she now has surpassed 500 assists for the third time in her career
- Junior Bella Burrelli currently ranks third overall in the PSAC for points per set with 4.36, along with 218 total points

- Edinboro holds the advantage in previous match ups against Mercyhurst, the Scots are (12-8) all time
- The last match up between the two teams Edinboro came away with a 3-2 victory in Mercyhurst's gym back in Oct, 2019.
- In Mercyhurst's last game they fell to IUP in five sets (25-23, 26-24, 23-25,14-25,11-15) and currently have a PSAC West record of (0-4)
