Annapolis, Md. – Ethan Ducca and Cody Mulligan earned third-place finishes as four Fighting Scots found their way to the podium Saturday at the Navy Classic.

Ducca opened with an 8-6 decision over Navy's Hunter Johns. He advanced to the semifinals with a 7-4 decision over Logan Deacetis of Bucknell. After dropping a major decision in the semis, Ducca bounced back with a 4-1 decision over Zane Lehman of Ohio. In the third-place match, it was a rematch with Deacetis. This time it was an 8-3 decision for Ducca.

Mulligan put up some bonus points for the Scots opening the tournament with a pin of David Tuttle of Bloomsburg. It took just 2:08 in his match with Cody Greer of Ohio for Mulligan to pick up another fall. After dropping his semifinal match, Mulligan scored an 11-0 major decision of Michigan State's Brad Willton. Mulligan closed out his tournament with a 7-2 decision over Tyler Mousaw of VMI.

At 141, Gabe Willochell scored a 13-1 major over Christopher Lanciano of Bucknell in his opening match. VMI's Luke Fegley was next. Willochell scored a 5-0 decision. Willochell scored a takedown in sudden victory against Kyran Hagan of Ohio to advance to the semifinals. Willochell dropped to the consolations where he pinned Michigan State's Matt Santos before falling in the third-place match to finish in fourth.

Max Millin also found his way to the podium opening with a 10-5 decision over Isaac Dolph. Millin then scored a 3-1 decision over Ohio's Jordan Earnst. Millin dropped back-to-back  matches but topped Earnst in the fifth-place match 5-2.

The Scots are back in action on Dec. 3 when they host Buffalo and Gannon at McComb Fieldhouse.
