East Stroudsburg jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but the Scots answered with the next five points on a 3-pointer by
Rana Elhusseini and a layup by Fisher. The game remained tight with the teams trading buckets and Edinboro holding a 15-14 lead with 3:13 to play in the first.

East Stroudsburg retook the lead 32-31 on a Carley Adams layup with 49 seconds left, but Burrelli scored a layup with 22 seconds to play in the half and then forced a turnover and found
Lauren Mullen for a bucket before time expired to send the Scots into the half up 35-32.
