GAME ONE RECAP
Seton Hill wasted little time getting a run on the board as the second batter of the game tripled in a run. Macy Sral saved a run on a sacrifice bunt attempt by flipping the ball home to Morgan Spitler who tagged the runner for the first out of the inning.
The bases were loaded with one out when Sral induced an infield fly to keep the Griffins' lead at one. A comebacker to Sral bounced off her shin and into foul territory scoring a second run. Then Nya Adams slid across the middle infield dirt from second to make a stop and flip it to second just in time for the out.
Adams logged the first Boro hit of the game with a double to the left-center field fence.
Jade Renner relieved Sral in the top of the second with base loaded and one out. A Seton Hill double brought two home, putting the Griffins ahead 5-0.
The Scots got a run back in the bottom of the third when Spitler singled and scored.
Two singles scored two for the Griffins in the fourth inning.
The visitors added on in the fourth as their lead ballooned to 10-1. Then homered in the fifth to make it 11-1.
Mackenzie Quider went yard in the fifth to make it 11-2. It was her fourth home run of the season.
11-2 was the final score in five innings.
