EDINBORO, PA- The Edinboro Women's Volleyball team (7-1) takes on California University of Pennsylvania (5-4) at McComb Fieldhouse this weekend. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25.

- It has been smooth sailing so far for the Edinboro Women's Volleyball season. They currently hold a (7-1) record after Tuesday's victory over Notre Dame College as they begin PSAC action.
- It only took Edinboro 3 sets to take care of Notre Dame College. The story of the game was Edinboro's ability to go on runs and control the momentum of the game
- Edinboro was aggressive on the attack, they accounted for at least 16 kills in each of the 3 sets against Notre Dame College
- Bella Burrelli led the squad with 16 kills, Natalie Pallone came alive and had a season high 9 kills. Abby Monn also contributed 9 kills
- Alicia Eldredge was once again dominant for Edinboro, she was responsible for 38 of the teams 43 assists
- Carly Pry had a team high 12 digs

- California is currently (5-4) and will play Clarion University prior to our game on Saturday.
- The Vulcans match up with Clarion will be their PSAC matchup of the season.
- In their last game, the Vulcans defeated West Virginia Wesleyan 3-0 with set scores of (25-11, 25-17- 25-15).
- Freshman Allie Droneberger led the Vulcans with 9 kills on the attack
- Senior Marley Goff, directed the offense with 14 assists
- Sophomore Emily Buwawa set the tone on defense with 7 digs
- Junior Chelsea Howard contributed 6 blocks on the defensive end
