EDINBORO, PA- The Edinboro Women's Volleyball team (8-1) will hit the road to match up against Clarion University (9-4) at Tippin Gymnasium this week. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28.

- Saturday night's win was exceptional, as it was Edinboro's first PSAC West game of the season
- The win over Cal U was decided in just three sets with Edinboro winning (25-21, 25-20, 25-18)
- The story of the game was Edinboro's dominant attack, the Fighting Scots averaged over 12 kills a set compared to Cal U's eight
- Bella Burrelli led the team with 17 kills, Natalie Pallone added nine kills. Alicia Eldredge kept the offense flowing, she contributed a team high 32 assists
- Edinboro's defense was a team effort and allowed them to have momentum throughout three sets
- Abby Monn led the team with 16 digs, while four Fighting Scots all recorded at least one solo block, including Burrelli with three of her own

- Clarion is currently (9-4) overall and (1-0) in PSAC West play, in their previous game they also recorded a 3-0 victory over California University of Pennsylvania
- Clarion's defense was on lock, they never allowed Cal U to break 20 points in any of their three sets played
- Abigail Selfridge led the team with 12 digs, Julia Piccolino contributed 11 digs and Annie Koester posted two solo blocks
- Offense was another strength for Clarion in this match up, they had kill percentage of .333 compared to Cal U's .122.
- Cassidy Snider was responsible for 14 kills, Piccolino added 10 kills and London Fuller controlled the offensive tempo with 34 assists
