Edinboro, Pa. - The Fighting Scots men and women's swim teams return to the pool to compete against IUP on Friday.
On the men's side, the team has five returners from last year.
Frank Barger,
Luke Edmonds,
Gerardo Gonzalez Ruiz, Ted Kinney, and
Sean Mitcho all return looking to build on their performances from last season, as well as to guide the incoming freshmen.
The men have added six freshmen to their team; Armando Apijna Castellanos,
Brian Bell,
Jacob Bettano,
Daniel Hastings,
Elijah Innis, and
Shane Steffey will all be looking to make an impact in the team for the upcoming season.
The Fighting Scots women return seven members of the 2021 team.

Leia Ross,
Lena Mitcho,
Lara De Carne, and
Madison Cordial are welcomed back.
The women have added nine new members to the team.

Abigal Greene,
Cara Della-Toffalo,
Liliana Delgado, Naomi Polito, and
Baila Bugara all enter the 2022 season as freshmen.
Kendra Keyser begins her first year in the pool for Edinboro whilst also being a member of the Boro Softball team.
Edinboro was not only a great competitor in the pool in 2021 but was also recognized for its efforts in the classroom by the CSCAA as a Scholar All-America Team for both men and women.
