North Canton, Ohio – The Edinboro softball team fell twice on the road to host Walsh Sunday in non-conference action.
In the opener the Cavaliers scored an 8-0 win. The bats were alive in game two as Walsh came out with 14-6 victory.
In the opener, the Cavaliers struck three times in the first to grab a 3-0 advantage. They extended the lead with a pair of runs in the third and three runs in the sixth to invoke the eight-run rule.
Kayla Terwilliger picked up the only hit for the Scots in the opener.

Stephanie Krick to give the Scots a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
Walsh answered back with 10 straight runs over the next three innings to build a 10-1 advantage.
Edinboro closed the gap to 10-4 with a three-run fourth inning. The Cavaliers put up a four-spot in the bottom of the inning to take a 14-4 lead.
Chelsea Buscatto tripled home a pair of runs in the fifth, but it wasn't enough to hold off the run rule.
Dylan Claycomb took the loss in the circle allowing 10 runs, six earned, over 2.2 innings of work.
The Scots are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Cal for a non-conference doubleheader with the Vulcans.
