Slippery Rock, Pa. – Sophia Bernardoni scored her second goal of the season as the Edinboro women's lacrosse team fell to host Slippery Rock 26-1 Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Rock jumped out early scoring 11 times in the first quarter to build an 11-0 lead. Slippery Rock added the first goal of the second quarter to extend the lead to 12-0.
 
Bernardoni broke the run with an unassisted tally at the 10:09 mark of the second quarter.
 
Slippery Rock would score three more time in the second to take a 15-1 advantage to the half.
 
The Rock closed the game on an 11-0 run to set the final.
 
Kaitlyn Binotto made 15 saves and took the loss in the cage.
 
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they continue PSAC West play with a trip to IUP. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
