Shepherdstown, Wv. – The Edinboro men's tennis team posted another dominant shutout as they defeated Shepherd University 7-0, on Saturday afternoon. With the win Edinboro improves their conference record to (3-0) and (8-5) overall. 

In doubles Thibault Dorval and Maksymilian Braziewicz got things going as they got past Ryan Cox and Sebastian Sevilla 6-4. Shepherd forfeited the doubles match with Edinboro's Kaio Sacchi and Ruben Acuna. The forfeit was enough for Edinboro to clinch the doubles point. 

In singles, two close matches in favor of the Fighting Scots became the deciding factor. Acuna snuck past Yuto Shimotsuji 2-6, 7-6, 10-4. Gustavo Martins followed up Acuna by defeating Joseph Michael 7-5, 1-6, 10-4.  

The remaining matches in singles became the cherry on top for Edinboro. Dorval shutout Cox 6-0, 6-0. Bruno Sabio won his twelveth singles match of the season when he defeated Sevilla 6-3, 6-3. Sacchi picked up his seventh win of the season with his victory over Hamilton Hall 6-1, 6-1. 

Braziewicz's match was a forfeit by Shepherd, clinching Edinboro's 7-0 win.  

Edinboro will be back in action next Friday when they host Bluefield State College at 4:00 p.m.
