Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's tennis team defeated Bluefield State 4-2, on day two of the Atlantic Regional Tournament. With the win, Edinboro now moves onto Altamonte Springs, Florida for the championship rounds on May 18-22.   

The Scots gained early momentum by clinching the doubles point. The duo of Thibault Dorval and Maksymilian Braziewicz defeated Tom Schmieta and Teddy Razafindratsima 6-4. A win from Bruno Sabio and Rocco Palombarini over Juan Manuel De Freitas was enough for Edinboro to move into singles play. 

In singles the two Atlantic Regional teams continued to battle. Acuna finished his match first, as he defeated Frederik Bau-Madsen 6-4, 6-4. The third match to finish was between Thibault Dorval and Luke Busse.  

Dorval won the match and earned Edinboro their third point. Sabio would seal the match on court one with a huge victory over Razafindratsima. Sabio's victory gave the Scots their fourth and final point 

Edinboro will now await the NCAA bracket and seedings for the championship rounds.
