Edinboro, Pa.- The Fighting Scots first travel to Gannon University on Friday afternoon, before then making the trip to California, Pa. where they will compete against Cal. U and Clarion.
Friday's events begin at 5 p.m. at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion Pool, Gannon Recreation and Wellness Center. Saturday's races start at 1 p.m. at the Hamer Hall Natatorium.
Edinboro women took victory last week against Shippensburg, 117-73. Overall the women placed first in seven races,
Avery Zuk earned two wins in the 200 free and the 100 free.
Makayla Scheu,
Paige Smith,
Stephanie Sipple and
Leia Ross all took victories propelling the women to the overall win on the day.
The men competed well across the board against Shippensburg. Two victories were earned, first by
Ted Kinney in 50 free and then the team of
Luke Edmonds,
Frank Barger,
Elijah Innis and
Ted Kinney won out in the 200 free relay.
The busy weekend sees Edinboro compete in their final away meets of the season before the PSAC Championships. There will be one more opportunity to watch your Fighting Scots when they welcome Clarion University to Edinboro. Our Senior's will be honored at the final meet of the season, please come out and show your appreciation. Events begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27.
