Erie, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's volleyball team makes the trip to Gannon on Friday at 7 p.m. for a PSAC West showdown with the the Golden Knights.
Last Time Out
The Scots are now 9-8 overall and 4-3 in PSAC West play after sweeping Mercyhurst 3-0 on Tuesday night.
Natalie Pallone was highly efficient finishing with 16 kills and a .520 hitting percentage. She also did work defensively recording three block assists and one solo stuff.
Bella Burrelli added nine kills while
Jessica Hardin turned in six.
Abigale Soboleski and
Laney Burns each tallied 17 assists and
Carly Pry notched a team-high 12 digs.
Offensive Output
Three Scots have posted over 100 kills on the season. Pallone is the team leader with 163 averaging 2.63 kills per set. Burrelli ranks second with 152 kills while
Makayla Neelands adds 105. Soboleski leads the team with 314 and Burns adds 283.
Defensive Efforts
Pry leads the Scots in digs with 251. Burrelli adds 202 whiel Soboleski chips in 141. Pallone is the leading blocker with 51 total blocks.
Kasey Smith adds 48 stuffs while
Erika Lindqvist chips in 41.
Scouting the Golden Knights
Gannon is 13-3 overall and 5-1 in PSAC West play coming off a 3-0 sweep of Pitt-Johnstown last Saturday. Joureny Blevins leads the offense with 265 kills. Hailey Koch ranks second at 139. Marta Roicka has dished out a team-high 388 assists. Emma Hall has recorded 285 digs.
